Ari is a clothing project based between London and Oaxaca, Mexico, bringing together urban influences and traditional artisanal practices.
Each piece is unique, made using vintage and recovered textiles from natural fibres, and dyed with natural pigments. Garments are produced slowly and in small quantities, with care taken to respect the history and story of each material.
The designs are light and feminine in feel, while remaining open and adaptable. Ari creates clothing that moves beyond fixed ideas of gender, intended to be worn in different ways by different people.
Every piece is one of a kind. Due to the nature of natural dyes, no two garments are ever the same. Nothing is mass produced.
The aim is to create thoughtful, lasting clothing that respects both the materials and the hands involved.
